COLONY COUNTER

COLONY COUNTER, ILLUMINATED
Designed for counting bacterial and mould colonies in Petri dishes. Features
electric pressure sensitive counting pad, which is activated by any probe or felt tip
pen. Counts are registered on a digital display and an audible tone confirms each
count. The unit can be connected to printer (C29­2200) or PC which enables the
user to print the colony count and statistics, including the standard deviation. A
switchable black background is provided to enhance viewing of translucent and
difficult to see colonies. Supplied complete with two Wolffheugel graticules, one
segmentation disc and two centering adapters, to facilitate use with 50-90mm
dishes. A magnifier is available as an optional extra for counting very small colonies.
