STERILISING BAGS
Paper bags composed of medical grade white sterilisation paper, suitable for
sterilising instruments by autoclaving. All sizes are gussetted and have double turn
at the bottom for security. Opening is on the shortest side. Two types of closure
are available:
Heat seal closure
Has an adhesive band on the inside of the bag, which can be sealed using a
suitable heat seal machine (C11­3960). The pink indicator mark turns to brown
under normal autoclaving conditions.
Plain closure
Should be folded and secured using Autoclave Indicator Tape (C11­2600).

Waste disposal bags, polyethylene. Clear, with blue biohazard labelling. Suitable for
temperatures up to 121ºC.
