The sample to be sectioned, up to approximately 1cm across, is clamped into the
central tube. It is raised in 10µm increments by turning the milled screw in the base.
Total movement 10mm. Sections are cut from the top using a razor (not included).
Diameter of top surface 70mm.

Rotary rocking microtome is robust, lightweight, sleek, reliable and extremely
practical in both medical and industrial applications and is able to cut both soft and C50-0460
hard specimens. Constructed to a rotary rocking design of cast alloys, with detergent
and solvent resistant epoxy-polyester finish. Ergonomic design and portable for ease
of use and relocation.
Features include easy set up anti-roll system for simple usability, counterbalance
assisted wheel operation and flat top for storage. The quick action interchangeable
solid and QRFBH knife blocks can take conventional steel knives; tungsten carbide
tipped knives, glass knives and disposable blade holders. Sliding knife carriage with
central lock.
Safety features include counter-balance handwheel with safety lock, built in knife
guards and locking wind wheel.
