DELAGUA PORTABLE WATER TESTING KIT
This equipment was designed to test for the critical parameters specified in World
Health Organization Guidelines for Drinking Water. It helps to provide information
about the safety of water supplies in difficult situations such as natural disasters and
refugee camps. The kit allows five important water quality parameters to be assessed
in the field using well-proven and simple methods.
The tests possible are:
Thermotolerant (faecal) Coliform Count;
Turbidity Test;
Chlorine and pH Tests;
Total Coliform Count.
The basic kit includes an incubator set at 44ºC, a battery and charger, temperature
check kit and consumables sufficient for 200 tests. Supplied complete with a C74-1000
manual and an instructional CD-ROM.
C74-1000 Basic Single Incubator Kit

The double incubator kit includes the same components as the basic kit but also has
incubators set at 37ºC and 44ºC.
C74-1100 Double Incubator Kit
The lightweight kit operates from the mains electricity supply. Therefore it does not
include the battery and charger but does have a multi-region power supply, which
will allow operation from a battery if required.

WATER TESTING THERMOMETER KITS

Incorrect water temperature is a key risk factor for legionella growth. The legionella
bacteria multiply in water at temperatures between 20 to 45°C, particularly if a
supply of nutrients is present, such as scale, rust, sludge or algae. A typical method
of control is to store cold water below 20°C. Hot water should be stored above 60°C
and distributed at above 50°C.
Thermometer kits can be used to monitor the temperature of both standing water
and the surface of pipes and tanks that form part of the water system.
These kits come with a traceable certificate of calibration.
