         TRANSILLUMINATORS

         Benchtop transilluminators are available in either single or dual wavelength formats
         and feature a choice of intensity settings:
         High setting for UV excitation of fluorophores on gels for routine photography and
         excites gels with low sample concentration.
         Medium setting for viewing and quick single-band excision.
         Low setting for positioning and preparation of the gel, excising multiple bands, and
         focusing for photography
         The units have uniform and bright illumination and high-grade filter glass to provide
         excellent documentation results with a low background signal.
         Other features include: stainless steel frame, lamp control with electronic high-  C37-6010
         frequency operating system, freely adjustable UV protection shield and quiet,
         temperature-controlled ventilation.
         Single wavelength unit includes filter size 21 x 26cm and 4 x 8 Watt 302nm UV tubes.
         Dual wavelength unit includes filter size 20 x 20cm 4 x 8 Watt 302nm UV tubes and
         4 x 8 Watt 365nm UV tubes

         HIGH PERFORMANCE TRANSILLUMINATOR
         Benchtop high performance UV transilluminator with single wavelength of 302nm
         and high/medium/low UV intensity settings.                                     C37-6015
         Similar to C37-6010 except it delivers high UV output and intensity, no light flicker,
         fast lamp start-up and reduced electrical consumption. The back-lit UV illumination
         is further enhanced with long-life filter and uniformity screen. A powerful cooling
         fan maintains a low filter surface temperature to prevent sample damage and
         maintains a constant UV intensity.
         Includes adjustable UV blocking cover and filter size 20 x 20cm and 4 x 25W 302nm
         UV tubes to provide brilliant UV illumination.

         GEL DOCUMENTATION SYSTEM
         A simple ultra-compact gel documentation system with 254/312nm UV
         transilluminator, hood, screen and software. It meets constraints in both budget
         and space within the laboratory and is suitable for research. A large screen enables
         images, including agarose and fluorescent gels, colorimetric gels, autoradiography
         film and blotting membrane, to be captured in colour, clearly and easily. The system
         is computer-free and supplied with a storage card and 55mm ethidium bromide
         filter as standard, while an optional SYBR filter is also available. Files are saved onto
         the storage card in RAW, TIFF-RGB and JPEG formats and may be transferred to
         computer for analysis with the highly recommended TotalLab software (supplied).
