FLAME PHOTOMETERS, JENWAY, PFP7/PFP7C
Single beam emission flame photometers for routine determination of Na, K, Ca,
Ba and Li, in industrial and clinical applications. Features include electronic flame
failure detection, fine and coarse sensitivity controls, 3½ digit (12.5mm) LED and
recorder output. Operates on propane, butane, natural gas or L.P.G. supplies. The
model C40­6055 (PFP7C) is designed specifically for use in clinical applications. The
built-in lineariser circuitry enables readings of both sodium and potassium, at
normal clinical serum concentrations, to be directly displayed in mmol/l. Serum
samples need to be diluted 200:1 or 100:1 prior to presentation to the flame
photometer.

Both models are supplied with connecting hoses & clips, compressor plug, drain
trap, fuses, mains lead and combined instruction book and service manual.
Requires but does not include a gas regulator and an air compressor.
The instrument will only operate with the correct type of air compressor and gas
regulator - please specify requirements at time of order.
