High specification general purpose furnaces that are ideal for general laboratory
use in, for example, educational establishments and research institutes. Features
CAL9400 Controller. The 48 x 48mm controller is a simple PID control with setpoint
and actual measured temperature displayed. Maximum operating temperature of
1200ºC. Features a wire wound ceramic muffle chamber for excellent temperature
uniformity and smooth durable inner surface. Door opens vertically to ensure the
hot surface is away from the operator at all times. Safety switch turns off power to
the elements when the door is opened. Digital controller offering a single adjustable
ramp to one permanent dwell temperature. Both set temperature and actual
temperature are simultaneously displayed. Type ‘R’ temperature sensor.
Over-temperature protection via a thermal fuse as standard. High quality low
thermal mass insulation incorporating a double skin case ensuring low outer
surface temperatures. Powder coated exterior. Stainless steel chimney for venting
excess fumes. For 220 - 240V a.c. single phase supplies.

Digital Programmers
The following programmers can be factory fitted to furnaces, please enquire for a
quotation:
Eurotherm 2416 CG Programmer
Has the same features as the basic controller supplied with the furnace and also
allows the operator to preset both the rate of temperature rise or fall, and the
length of time at a constant temperature. A total of 8 segments are available, each
of which can be used as a ramp, step or dwell.
Eurotherm 2408 CP Programmer
A high stability instrument which further extends the facilities of the 2416 CP
programmer and allows the operator to preset programs of 16 segments, each of
which can be used as a ramp, step or dwell.
