GENERAL PURPOSE BENCHTOP INCUBATORS, BASE MOUNT DESIGN
Economical incubators, for the general laboratory, in powder coated sheet steel.
The interiors are of aluminium coated mild steel or stainless steel as an optional
extra. Fitted with fixed shelf runners and supplied with removable chrome plated
wire grid shelves. The top vent is fitted with a clip to hold a thermometer. The
incubators can be supplied with either a solid steel door or a door with an integral
viewing window. Heating is by sheathed heater elements, situated below the
cabinet floor in models with natural convection or around the fan on the back or
side walls of models with mechanical convection. Control system comprises a direct
reading thermostat and overheat thermostat both with calibrated scales and
tamper proof locks, a mains switch with indicator and heat and overheat indicators.
The horizontal models have a control system comprised of a PID Microprocessor
controller with dual displays of set point and actual temperature, which are auto-
tuned for each individual unit to optimise the heat up, overshoot and control of
temperature. For 220 - 240V a.c. single phase supplies. C.E. compliant.
