MELTING POINT APPARATUS, DIGITAL
Digital microprocessor control provides fast warm-up, accurate temperature
control and operates without the need for a mercury thermometer. Up to 4
discrete temperatures can be recorded in the memory, and later recalled on the
LCD display. Unit is supplied with one fixed temperature ramp rate of 1ºC/minute.
Fast ramp rate of 10ºC/minute can be used to find approximate melt temperature
of an unknown sample. Audible signal indicates when oven is ready for use. 40mm
8x magnifying lens, with adjustable focus, on an adjustable viewing arm ensures
accuracy and comfort during use.

MELTING POINT APPARATUS, ANALOGUE
Electrically heated, takes up to 3 samples, maximum temperature of 250ºC. Heating
rate can be adjusted manually between 20ºC/minute, for rapid heating and
10ºC/minute, to obtain an accurate melting point range. Built-in illumination and
viewing magnifier gives shadowless illumination and clear viewing of the samples.
Supplied with safe spirit filled 0-250ºC thermometer and 100 melting point tubes
(open both ends).
