A range of packaged practicals for chemistry, physics and biology, suitable for Key
Stages 3 and 4, based around the Comboplate with small wells that can be likened
to “micro test tubes” and large wells to “micro beakers”. The system is recognised
by curriculum and examination authorities in the UK.
MICROCHEM COMBOSTILL
Demonstrates reflux and distillation on a very small cost-effective scale. Capable of
reproducing experimental procedures normally accomplished with costly organic
lab equipment. Used by researchers and school labs alike, as most procedures can
be completed in a third of the time taken by traditional methods and huge savings C47-6100
can be made on the cost of chemicals as such small volumes are involved. Supplied
