Powered by battery or mains, ideal for use in incubators, glove boxes or in the field.
Variable speed up to 1300 rpm. Stirring capacity 1.5 litres (water). Housed in a
tough, chemically resistant ABS casing. Overall dimensions 150 x 160 x 70mm (w x
d x h). Supplied with 4 alkaline batteries. Requires but does not include a magnetic
follower.
Weight 1.3kg, expected battery life 600 hours continuous use.

Magnetic stirrer hotplate with variable speed up to 2000 rpm. Stirring capacity 15
litres (water). Features a chemically resistant glass ceramic hotplate, 150mm square,
heated area 120mm square. Microprocessor control of temperature. Features “hot”
warning light which flashes when the plate temperature is above 50ºC and will
operate even when the hotplate is turned off, and unplugged from the mains. Also
fitted with illuminated mains on/off switch and separate hotplate indicator light.
Case incorporates fitting for retort rod. Requires but does not include magnetic
followers. For 220 - 240V a.c. single phase supplies.
