HEATING TAPES

HEATING TAPE
A fixed length tape for temperatures up to 450ºC which can be used on metal
surfaces. Robust glass-fibre construction, earthed for additional safety. Surface

loading up to 0.62W/cm . A connector is provided at one end for ease of
installation. For increased safety, an isolating transformer or rheostat should be
used with the tape. For 220 - 240V a.c. single phase supplies.

POWER CONTROLLER
Bimetallic element device which automatically provides compensation for change
in supply voltage. The precise scaling enables the output setting to be repeated and
the regulator provides excellent control of heating mantles. Current rating 5A
continuous, 10A intermittent. In metal case 120 x 100 x 80mm high, suitable for
retort rod, wall or bench mounting. For 200 - 240V a.c. single phase supplies.

BATH, SECTION MOUNTING
A paraffin section mounting bath with a PTFE coated matte black interior to give
clear visibility and powder coated white aluminium exterior for easy cleaning.
Temperature control mechanism gives good heat up time and temperature stability
and prevents over heating

Capacity of fifty 76 x 25mm slides on removable drying bars. With built-in energy
regulator and indicator lights which show "power on" and "heater on". Maximum
temperature is 100ºC. For 220 - 240V a.c. single phase supplies.
