POLARIMETER, WITH LED ILLIMINATORP
A high quality, low-cost instrument to measure the rotation of optically active
samples. Uses the variable half waveplate effect to obtain a balance between the
two halves of a circle when viewed through the eyepiece.
A reading is then taken from a scale, accurate to 0.05°.
Rotating polarimeter 360°, with 180° left and 180° right rotation.
Accepts sample tubes up to 220mm. Includes a monochromatic 589mm LED
illuminator
Supplied with 2 spare fuses, 2 sample tubes (100 and 200mm), screwdriver and
instruction manual..
