PIPETTE CONTROLLER, OMEGA
This portable and lightweight pipette controller features durable, UV-resistant
plastic housing with an ergonomic rounded design with contoured buttons to help
prevent hand fatigue after hours of use. Suitable for accurate reproducible filling
and dispensing of serological glass and plastic pipettes from 1 - 100ml. It is capable
of filling a 25ml pipette in 3 seconds.
The pipettor combines single-handed pipetting with fast, precise, versatile liquid
dispensing. The 8 speeds from drip dispense to 8.3ml/second can be adjusted with
one hand using the thumb wheel control. Gravity mode is non-motorized drop
dispensing, in which the speed of the drops being dispensed can be controlled by
the dispense trigger. LCD display indicates dispensing speed, gravity mode and
battery charge (shows 1 to 6 bars in sequence from empty to full, the battery icon
will flash when the battery is less than 10% charged). The rechargeable lithium-ion
battery provides up to 9 hours of continuous use. Features auto shut-off of the
battery after 5 minutes of inactivity to avoid battery depletion.
Its compact design makes it ideal for pipetting liquids in confined spaces such as
fume hoods and clean rooms. It has a removable nosepiece and silicone adapter,
autoclavable at 121°C. Accepts 0.25µm or 0.45µm PTFE filters.
